WP-ORG permits you to create a free email
alias for yourself. A email alias is an alternative name for
a more complex email address. Whereas our email accounts are
formatted as wp<cullum number>@west-point.org (example:
wp21129@west-point.org) the alias allows you to personalize your
address (such as john.doe@west-point.org). As long as it is not
already taken, you may select the email alias you wish to have.
Please do not use unusual characteristics, as only alpha-numeric,
periods, dashes, and underlines are accepted; otherwise, the
system will filter unacceptable characters automatically.
WP-ORG's email accounts are fully operational
POP3 service, using WP-ORG fractional T1 connection to the internet.
A POP3 service or mailbox lets you retrieve email from our servers
using any standard Internet Email software such as:
Netscape Mail or Communicator
Microsoft Internet Mail, Outlook, or Exchange
Eudora Lite or Pro
Pegasus
Any others that support POP3!
