Luncheon at the Museum

We had a good turn out today, (over twenty)  to hear Mr. Bill Stender discuss the Madison County Veteran’s Memorial and to tour the Museum.  Thank you all for coming.

I know some of you are wondering who won the drawing for the tickets.  Jimmy Hill was the winner.

Next month, the Luncheon will be back at the ROCC. The date is the 23rd of June.   Two cadets will present, who will be at Redstone for about four weeks this summer.

Army Football Tickets

The Army “A” Club is again providing the Society with a Certificate good for four tickets to a home football game (excluding Tulane and Rutgers) and a VIP parking pass.

At the 19th May Society Luncheon, the Certificate will be given to the winner of a drawing.   To have your name in the drawing, please send me an email with your interest.  (Or register online.)

You need not be at the Luncheon at the Veteran’s Museum in order to win the drawing.  Although it would be great if you were.

GO Army!

May Society Meeting – Veteran’s Museum Luncheon

We have our next Society meeting scheduled for the 19th of May at the Veteran’s Museum and have arranged for a speaker, Mr. Stender to come and talk to us about the Veteran’s Memorial that is to be built downtown near the Depot.  It turns out that the AUSA is conducting it’s Tactical Missile Conference during the same period of time.

I still hope as many of you as possible can attend our meeting – after all it is a free lunch (I know many of you have gotten your corporations to pay for your lunch at the VBC to hear LTG Riley speak) and the BBQ in the past has been excellent.

Please sign up so we know how much food to order!
