Important Date

Save the date for this years Founders Day Dinner.  It will be held on April 12th at the Valley Hill Country Club.  Plan to join us for Benny Havens Hours with music from the AMC Band Jazz Quartet, Champagne Toasts, Dinner, Guest Speaker, and Dancing/Piano Bar.

Like last year we intend on conducting a Silent Auction to raise money to support funding for one of the “Margin of Excellence” programs at West Point.
In the past we have relied on donations from our membership to support this Silent Auction.
We are again asking for donations for the auction from the society and will gladly come and pick them up.
Some examples of items donated at last year’s auction are
West Point memorabilia and artwork,
free rounds of golf at local courses,
gift baskets from local stores and salons,
and autographed sports memorabilia.
While you are doing your Spring cleaning this year and come across that interesting piece of memorabilia that you just don’t quite know what to do with, please consider donating to this worthy cause.
We received some wonderful donations last year and the auction is a fun addition to the Benny Havens festivities.
You can contact either Julie Wilhelm at 256-885-1925 julie.wilhelm@usa.net or Lynne Warnke at 256-885-0463 jwarnke@knology.net to donate or ask any questions.
