Maj. William Taze Jessee, US Army, (Ret.), age 71, of San Antonio died Thursday, March 4, 1999. He was born at Ft. Sam Houston on February 29, 1928 and graduated from Alamo Heights High School. Maj. Jessee enlisted in the U. S. Army in 1946 and graduated in 1954 from West Point. He later taught at Texas A&M University as well as received his Masters in 1964. Maj. Jessee was a member of the Davy Crockett Lodge #1225A.F. & A.M. and the Alzafar Shrine. Survivors: wife, Eddice Marie Jessee; daughters, Linda Jessee, New York, and Eddice M. Cornelius, Tucson, AZ; sons, William Walter Jessee, Miami, FL, and Bryan Ted Jessee, Austin, TX; and daughter, Jill Jessee, Dallas, TX. SERVICE MONDAY - 12:30 P.M. SAN PEDRO PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH with Rev. Calvin Reynolds and Rev. Jack Bush officiating. Interment with Full Military Honors and Masonic Service under the auspices of Davy Crockett Lodge # 1225 A. F. & A. M. will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Therapy & Research Center, Attn: Donor Relations, P.O. Box 1657, San Antonio, TX 78296-1657.
