Colonel Milton S. Glatterer

Col. Milton S. Glatterer, U.S. Army (Ret.), born September 8, 1909, passed away January 20, 2000 at the age of 90 years. He was a graduate of West Point in 1932 and was a career Army officer with his last assignment being Post Commander of Fort Sam Houston until his retirement in 1962. He is survived by his wife, Louise Glatterer; son, Milton "Skeet" Glatterer Jr., M.D. and wife Annette; sister, Elizabeth Headley: nephew, Elwood Headley, M.D. He is also survived by the Long Grey Line of Graduates from the United States Military Academy of West Point.
Visitation will begin Monday, January 24, 2000 at 6:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 25, 2000 with all to meet at Windcrest United Methodist Church for Services to begin at 11:45 A.M. Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
