2013 Founders' Day at L'Ecole Militaire, Paris Print

 

The 2013 Founders' Day dinner for the West Point Society of Paris will be held at Ecole Militaire, 1 Place Joffre, Paris, on Saturday, March 16th, at 7:00 p.m. We are pleased to welcome as a guest speaker Général de brigade Christian Beau, Dean of the Ecole de guerre.
The cost for the event is €40 per person.

We are pleased to invite six cadets who are spending this semester in France as guests of the Society. If anyone would like to invite other graduates or US/French officers, you are welcome to do so but please let one of the officers know ahead of time.

Apéritif - Classique avec champagne

Entrée - Céviche de dorade, ruban de concombre et radis au pesto
Plat - Caille laquée à l'estragon, fondant de céleri et vert de blettes
Fromage - Assiette de fromages affinés
Dessert - Brioche perdue, glace vanille et caramel laitier
Café ou thé
Vins - Pouilly, Cahors

Payment for dinner
must be received no later than Saturday, March 9th (so please put your check in the mail when you confirm for dinner). At the same time we will collect annual dues of €50 per Society member. There is a one-time membership fee of €20 for all new members. Only one check or Paypal payment is necessary for all costs (dinner + dues). Finally, last call for anyone who would like to serve as an officer of the Society in the upcoming year, please let me know. We will again elect a President, two Vice Presidents, a Treasurer, and a Secretary. Information on Society elections will be sent to all regular members in the coming days.
