2011 Founders' Day dinner for the West Point Society of Paris Print

The 2011 Founders' Day dinner for the West Point Society of Paris will be held at Ecole Militaire1 Place Joffre, Paris, on Saturday, March 19th, commencing at 6:30 p.m.

We are pleased to welcome Général de division (retired) Vincent Desportes as our guest speaker.

Dress: Informal attire is appropriate for the event: coat and tie for gentlemen and equivalent for ladies; Class A for active duty and Dress Grey for cadets.

The cost for the event is 45 per personwhich includes Benny Havens (i.e. apéritif) and white and red wine with dinner.

Seven cadets spending the semester in France will be present.  Additionally, other cadets from the Foreign Language department will be in attendance.

Payment for dinner must be received no later than Wednesday, March 3rd (so please put your check in the mail when you confirm for dinner). The Board of Directors has set dues for this year at €50plus the one-time membership fee is €20. Membership fees and dues are waived for cadets. Only one check is necessary for all costs. If you do not have a French bank account, let us know and we will find an alternative method of payment. Also, this is a final call for volunteers to serve as officers of the Society in the upcoming year. We will again elect a President, two Vice Presidents, a Treasurer, and a Secretary. Information on Society elections will be sent to all regular members in the coming days.
