MEMBERSHIP      

MEMBERSHIP: Members are regular, honorary, and special.

   ·     Regular members include graduates of the USMA or former cadets who were honorably discharged after completing at least one semester.

   ·     Honorary members include surviving spouses of a deceased graduates or persons of distinction elected by the Board of Directors (the Board) for exemplifying DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY.

   ·     Special members include cadets from the Monterey Peninsula , persons deemed by the Board to have made significant contributions to the Society, the Commander of the Defense Language Institute ( DLI ) if not a regular member, the Superintendent of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), Military Academy Liaison Officers (MALO), and members of Congress.   

Members may be expelled from the society for cause by the Board or reinstated.

We no longer have a yearly dues.  Instead of a dues, we now ask our members to make a donation to the society.  The number of members in the Society is 215, of those 215, 68 have donated as of 1 August 2005.
