Let’s get the Long Gray Line active in Austin!
Join us on Saturday, June 25th for the first WPSCT business & networking dinner. The purpose of these dinners is twofold: first, to learn about business principles from preeminent Austin business leaders; second, to reinvigorate professional networking among Austin area West Pointers. Whether you are thinking about transitioning out of the Army, recently transitioned, or well established as a hiring manager, VP, or executive, we want you to participate.
For our inaugural event, we will be hosting Mr. Nathan Creech, Senior VP for CRH Materials North America and President of Oldcastle Materials Central Division. Mr. Creech will speak on Michael Porter’s Competitive Strategy, focusing on Porter’s Five Forces of competition.
Space is limited–we only have a 36-person capacity in Revival Public House’s executive conference room. This event will take the place of this month’s typical Thursday happy hour. That’s right–for all of you who have trouble making it out on week nights, we now have a weekend networking opportunity for you.
Significant others are welcome to attend. There is no cost for this event. We do ask that you notify us if you have to cancel so that we may allow someone on the wait list to attend. Can’t make the dinner? Join us for happy hour or the after party!
