The 2009 West Point Graduation will stream live online on the West Point Web Site and the Pentagon Channel Web Site starting at 9:29 a.m. EDT Saturday.

The Pentagon Channel will also have the complete event available for download. To download, go to the Pentagon Channel "Media" page and there is a large banner saying "Click here to download broadcast quality programming from the Pentagon Channel."

The graduations for all three service academies will be listed on the left side roughly 24-48 hours after the live feed. They can be downloaded for free and put on a DVD if they'd like to send to love ones or play from their computer. (NOTE: that since these files are "broadcast quality" they are rather large MPG files and will take some time to download.) Also, users must sign up for a free password and username to start downloading the files.

Additionally, friends and family members unable to attend the graduation ceremonies can also watch the commencements ON DEMAND thanks to a unique offering from Comcast and the Pentagon Channel. The two have partnered to bring coverage of this year's service academy graduations at U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy and U.S. Air Force Academy to Comcast Digital Cable customers throughout New Jersey, Delaware, southeastern and central Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. via Comcast's Local Video On Demand service. Each graduation ceremony, available no later than four days following the commencements, can be viewed through mid-June, allowing Digital Cable customers to watch them any time, day or night, with the ability to fast forward, rewind and pause selections at their convenience.

Like all other Comcast Local Video On Demand programming, the military graduations are free of charge. Customers can access "Graduations ON DEMAND" by tuning to Channel 1 on their digital cable lineup or pressing the ON DEMAND button on their remote control, then clicking on the "Get Local" category followed by the "Academy Graduations" folder. Each graduation ceremony profiled will feature distinguished speakers and the best and brightest of our nation's military services. To determine exact dates the graduations will play in a particular area, Comcast customers should check their local listings, as specific dates were not available at press time.
