EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: - 2005-present: Captain, Field Artillery Officer, United States Army. United Nations Liaison/Operations Officer Korea Solely responsible for establishing/maintaining diplomatic relations with highest ranking military and civilian VIPs of UN Member Nations to achieve classified U.N. objectives in a politically-charged Korean theater.
- 2004-2005: Battalion Maintenance Officer, Oklahoma Principle manager responsible for the maintenance of 200 pieces of complex technical equipment worth $75 million, coordinated the 500 person team recovery efforts. Liaison to all maintenance support agencies, ensuring timely parts delivery.
- 2004: Battery Commander, Oklahoma. Commanded a field artillery battery. Managed and directed resources for the supervision, readiness, training, employment and safety of 97 personnel, with a budget of 30 million dollars. Coordinated the logistics of deactivating the organization by transfer of assets and resolution of all pertinent matters due to Army restructuring.
- 2003: Executive Officer, Iraq. Second in command of a deployed unit. Planned, prepared and executed all mission essential operations, while managing the maintenance, supply, food, training and related services to ensure logistical support in all phases of the organization. Maintained 8 vehicles valued at $8 million.
- 2001-2003: Field Artillery Officer, Oklahoma. Managed a technical center that computed technical firing data and tracked battle statistics. Supervised the readiness, training, employment and safety of 10 personnel. Maintained equipment valued at $800,000. Supervised a platoon of 30 personnel. Maintained 9 vehicles valued at $7 million. Operated and maintained the battery training database. Resourced and scheduled the training of over 100 personnel.
SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS: - Commanded an organization consisting of 75 multidisciplinary personnel with the primary responsibility of deactivating/downsizing and outsourcing the assets.
- Received among the highest organizational awards, the Bronze Star, for developing detailed operational plans and leading security teams to success.
- Designed and led security elements for an explosive ordnance demolition range which resulted in the destruction of over 1 million pounds of captured enemy ammunition preventing the material from being used against coalition forces in an active war zone.
- Awarded the Army Commendation Medal for the quick and highly efficient equipment overhaul and upgrade for 600 personnel to meet combat readiness levels in half of the allotted year after deployment.
- Led the development, integration and execution of an organizational training program that resulted in being awarded an Army Achievement Medal and being recognized as the top performing unit.
- Planned, coordinated, and executed the orientation and education on the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) for two 4-star commanding generals.
- Interfaced with various UN member nations to include Canada, the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Philippines and the Republic of Korea., achieving excellence in accomplishing classified operations.
- Received among the highest organizational awards for exceptional delivery of executive briefings to over 30 generals, ambassadors and heads of state on various occasions.
