Change your list footer

• Go here to access the new list administration page: http://lazarus.west-point.org/wporg/wpl/CMA/list_admin_by_name
• Enter your listservice name (eg: usma1964)
• Click on "Administer"
• At the bottom of the yellow navigation bar, click on "Config"
  

  Some configuration files are small enough to be viewed in the original browser. if you can view the configuration files, go directly to these directions -- CLICK HERE

  Many are too large, and must be opened in a separate browser. Below, are the directions to open and save large configuration files:

  

   
  • Click on "here" (as shown above) and a browser window will open your list configuration file as shown below:
  
  • Once the browser is open, click on FILE and SAVE AS:
  
   
  • Save the configuration as a .txt file (not a .doc). Remember where you saved it!
  
  • Open the saved configuration file in NOTEPAD.
  
   
  • Scroll down, and find the following text:
  
  • Note below, where the list footer is to be entered (between the words END and END) and save this document by clicking FILE and SAVE.
  

• Go back to your admin page. Find the browse button as seen below:

 
• A new window will open. Find your saved configuration file and highlight it. Click "OPEN". You will now see the updated file in the window next to the word "BROWSE". Select "SUBMIT FILE".

 
• Send a test message to your list to be sure the new footer shows on the email sent to your list
