Subject: WP-ORG: Fall Fund Drive Starts Today!
From: Jack Price <>

The Fall Equinox is past, the hurricanes have gone wherever hurricanes go to die, and leaves are starting to turn here on the Blue Ridge. Last week a momma bear with four cubs dropped by, and the last of the hummingbirds have fled south. Kid deer season opened this week. All this means, it's time to replenish our coffers.

We'd very much like to see these fund drives close out in a month, and I encourage you to make your donations early. The donation link above will accommodate checks, credit cards, PayPal, and stock donations.

All donations are 100% tax deductible. Here is a link to our very frugal budget:

And, the chart of budgets back to 2000 here:

As our long time donors will note, we have maintained our budget reduction this cycle. We are backed by over a hundred volunteers who match donated funds with magnificent efforts. There is no other venue where a dollar donated, does more for our West Point community than these fund drives. It enables us to continue to provide exceptional service while reducing expenses.

In these times when Equifax and social media are exposing personal information, don't forget that WP-ORG email accounts are available for graduates. They reside only on our servers and can provide a 'hull defilade' presence on the Internet which can be accessed via popular email programs and our own web mail interface.

One of the support functions we do quickly is to set up credit card sites for various functions. They yield 95% of the transactions, with WP-ORG paying all the bank clearing costs. We handle refunds, audits, and EOM payouts unless requested earlier. Contact us:

Well, you guys must be awfully busy, because not a single Ranger has been able to find the path to Buffalo Jack's bee yard to get the jar of honey for the first responder to the fund drive.¬ Still in the cupboard!

This location is close to Mabry Mill, mile post 176, on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia, just north of the NC/VA border. Just a test to see if any of those dusty Ranger Tabs are still valid!

Finally, I'd especially like to thank all those folks who operate as volunteer listserve moderators, without whom, we could not function.

Please donate!
