LOCAL CADET GRADUATES FROM WEST POINT – DATE

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Cadet John Smith, son of John and Jane Smith of Highland Falls, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 31.

Smith graduated from O’Neil High School in 2004. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in military history. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Aviation branch and will report to Fort Rucker, Ala., for his first assignment.
