The Class of 2013 will receive their rings during a ceremony on Friday, August 24, 2012.
The ceremony at Trophy Point begins at approximately at 5 p.m.
Parents and family members are welcome to attend at their cadet's invitation. It is suggested that guests attending the ceremony be in place at Trophy Point by 4:30 p.m.
Attire for this event is business casual as you will be sitting/standing at Trophy Point while the cadets receive their rings on the lower portion (near the band shell).
Please bring your own chairs and/or blankets for seating on the hillside.
As you are facing the band shell, the class will enter as follows: First and second regiments will enter from the right with third and fourth regiments entering from the left via the paved walkways.
SATURDAY, August 25, 2012

Attire - FORMAL
Long dress/dressy short dress or military equivalent for ladies; tux, dark suit or military equivalent for men (ASU or Dress Mess or other service equivalent).
Timeline of events:
2:30 - 5:30 p.m. - Academy Photo available to take pictures in Crest Hall
3 - 4 p.m. Receiving lines open for cadets and guests (Cadets and guests will proceed through the Receiving lines in designated areas of the 4th floor in Eisenhower Hall)
3 - 5:30 p.m. Reception in Eisenhower Hall - Cash Bar and light hors d'oeuvres available
4:30 - 5:30 p.m. - Shuttle bus available from Eisenhower Hall to Washington Hall (dinner shuttle) - Buses will depart from the Ticket Office level of Eisenhower Hall - 1st floor. (You may also choose to walk from Ike to Washington Hall - PLEASE remember to bring/wear comfortable shoes!)
6 p.m. - ALL CADETS and GUESTS are requested to be in place at their respective tables/seats in Washington Hall.
6:15 p.m. - Banquet begins with the entrance of the Official Party
Guest Speaker - Lt. Gen. Mark Hertling, Commanding General of U.S. Army Europe, headquartered in Heidelberg Germany.
8 - 11 p.m. NEW EVENT - HOP and Post Dinner Reception in CULLUM HALL BALLROOM - a very historic space located on the 2nd floor of Cullum Hall.
The Benny Haven's Band (BHB), a of the West Point Band will perform and provide music for dancing.
From the West Point Band website - "The BHB performs current popular music and all-time favorites with the dedication and musical precision for which the West Point Band is famous. “THE BENNY HAVENS BAND: THE OFFICIAL PARTY BAND OF THE UNITED STATES CORPS OF CADETS.”"
The main floor and terrace will also be open for your enjoyment!

If you require HANDICAPPED PARKING, please coordinate with your cadet. He/she must request a pass via his chain of command.

REMINDER - Cadets coordinate seating for their guests at the dinner.
