The 38th Michigan All Academy Ball held December 27, 2012 at the San Marino Club was a great success. Lt. Gov. Brian Calley was the keynote speaker thanking the cadets and midshipmen for their service to their country and community. Ray and Barbara Voet (Kenneth 2015) arranged for the Lt. Governor as the event speaker. Sheri and David Fernquist (Daniel 2016) chaired the silent auction that was an huge hit. Martha Knordquist ( Navy) was the ball chairperson and MC for the evening. Lt. Col. Robert Jagodzinski handled the military ceremonies. Dinner and dancing was enjoyed by all.
Excess proceeds from the event are designated for the Wounded Warriors Project. Photos...

RSVP Envelope... 2012 All Academy Ball Update The invitations have been sent. Lt. Governor Brian Calley is confirmed for a few words on the value of service. The string quartet is tuning up. Sheri is putting together a top notch silent auction. In a word everything is coming together for an outstanding event honoring cadets and their families. I hope you have marked your calendars for Thursday, December 27th, 2012 for attending the 38th All Academy Holiday Ball. The event starts at 6:00PM and the $50 per person includes: Appetizers, Entertainment, Dinner, Open Bar, Keepsake Wine Glass, Music and Dancing. The life long memory of seeing your cadet in dress uniform is priceless. The San Morino Club is at 1685 E. Big Beaver Road, Troy, Michigan. A formal invitation should arrive shortly in your mail box but above are links to an electronic copy if you need one to share with friends and family. Important. Have your cadet bring home their mess dress uniform for the ball. They may complain but they should be used to orders by now so give one. :) The event is Formal, Black Tie optional. Dark suits and longer dresses work. This is an event that every family and their cadet should experience at least once. A block of rooms are reserved. The room block expires 11/27/12.
