Saturday, December 8, 2012 Thanks to everyone who attended this year’s Army Navy game in Philadelphia. Can we come any closer to winning without winning? I hope you all had a great time and safe travels. We are very appreciative of all of the efforts by our host committee of Fred Blickle and Chris Kroll. Hotel was perfect, in a great location, 1 block from the subway, and right across the street from Reading Terminal Market. The Friday night function was a great place to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Thanks to all who made this a great event and thanks for supporting the West Point Parents Club of Michigan! The festivities for the 113th Army – Navy game, December 8th in Philadelphia are all set! Our hospitality event, scheduled from 5:30 – 8:00 PM on Friday at the Hilton Garden Inn will feature a wide variety of hearty hors d'oeuvres including Philly cheese steaks, pizza, chicken fingers, some healthy options? soft drinks and more! A cash bar will be available and rumor has it that Chris Kroll (Brett 2013), event co-chair, will be buying a round for all those in attendance at 6:00 PM. Game tickets will be distributed at the hospitality event. FYI: the Cadet march-on is scheduled for 12:44 PM. Look forward to seeing everyone there! For those of you that are unable to attend the Army – Navy game in Philadelphia, there will also be a local gathering of Army faithful! The West Point Society of Michigan (WPSMI) will host the 2012 Army-Navy Party at the BAC and you all are invited. The BAC is located at 4033 West Maple Road, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The party will start at 2:30 with Kick- off slated for 3:00. The price is $25.00 per person, same as last year, with a menu consisting of submarine sandwiches, pasta salads, chili, cookies, chips, beer, wine and pop. Please send your RSVP to Mark Ambrose at

Army is the home team - which means that the mids will march (or roll) in first. You will want to experience this ... as well as being in place and ready for the Army march on ... Plan to be *in* the stadium by noon. Remember that there is security, (and lines) so plan accordingly.
Remember also that while the weather forecast is seemingly more "fan friendly" than in recent years, we are on the shady side and the reality is that you will be outside for a long, long time. Step Off for March On - 12:30 p.m. (ARMY - Navy March precedes Army)
Cadet Exchange will take place at approximately 2:45 p.m.
(Army and Navy cadets participating in semester exchange program will "exchange" to enjoy the game with their respective schools.)
GAME TIME - 3 p.m. (CBS)

Sunday, Dec. 9 -
GMK Buses will stage at pick up point at 12:45 p.m.
Buses will depart as they are filled/loaded. LAST bus will depart at 1:30 p.m.
