November 9, 2012 The West Point Parent Club of Michigan Grad Parents will have the 4th Annual Christmas Stocking Stuffing Packing for our deployed troops on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Graf-O'Hara VFW Post 423

(734)646-6066 Please bring yourselves and boodle. We will be packing about 200 stockings, so bring what you can, but don't worry if you can't bring 200 of the same items. We have the names of some of the deployed Grads of our club members, but if you think there are names we may have missed, bring them along.
There will be drinks and some snacks. Feel free to bring additional snacks and desserts to share. Some suggestions for stocking stuffers are:
-Non perishable boodle
-Snack size chocolate candy bars
-Individual Hot cocoa mix, powered drink packets, herbal teas
-Beef Jerky/Slim Jims (no pork)
-Sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds
-Hard Pretzels / Cheetos / Fritos / Chex Mix / Gum / Hard Candy
-Granola Bars / Power Bars / Cereal Bars / Cliff Bars
-Fig Newtons, Oreos, Cheese & Crackers - Small Packs
-Dried Fruit, Granola, Fruit Roll-Ups / Fruit By The Foot / Fruit Gummies
-Peanuts, Mixed Nuts, Trail mix
-Rice Krispie Treats (Store-bought only)
-Small Christmas decorations or toys
-Car, motorcycle or Home improvement magazines new or used
-Hand and feet warmers
-Playing cards
-Chap stick
-Small hand Lotion or sanitizer
-Breath Mints / Breath Strips
-Lozenges / Cough Drops
Letters and Christmas cards to put into each box are very much appreciated. |
