Hotel Murano, Tacoma, Washington

The West Point Parent Club of Washington would like to invite all parents and sponsors of offered or accepted candidates to attend a New Parent Seminar on Sunday May 17, 2009, from 12 noon-3:00pm at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma. The purpose of this Seminar is for the new parents to receive information regarding all the exciting events that will happen over the coming year for you and your Cadet, and to meet parents who have experienced this journey. Lunch will be catered and will be $22 per person. The cost of the binder of materials given to each family will be $15 and is geared towards the new parents. RSVP by May 9th

West Point crowned eleven champions during the 53d Annual Brigade Boxing Open Championships. Tyler Elliot, USMA Class of 2012, earned the Most Outstanding Boxer award from the ESPNU announcers for his Technical Knockout in the 195 pound classification.

Tyler, as a plebe, who began boxing after taking the required course at West Point, was the only boxer to knock out his opponent in the Championships.
Tyler is from Oak Harbor, WA.
