Crest Afghans
For the past several years, the WPPC of MD-DC-VA (Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia) has sold afghans with the Class Crest of the graduating class. The club has permission of the President of the Class of 2003 to sell these afghans. This is done as a service, and the club does not profit from the sales. The money collected beyond the actual cost of the afghans and the cost of mailing to purchasers is given to the AOG for the appropriate class fund. Two years ago, $3,000 went to the Class of 2001 Fund. Last year $3,600 went to the Class of 2002 Fund. The cost of each afghan is $40.00 which includes any shipping costs within the US.
