Ring
Weekend is a significant event in a Firstie's life! It begins with
the formal Ring Ceremony at Trophy Point on Friday. After cheers,
smiles and the displaying of rings to friends and families, Firsties
make their trek back to the barracks. Most are met by rambunctious
plebes readily repeating "ring poop" and catching a glimpse
of Firsties' new rings. On Saturday, the Firsties and their families
and/or dates attend a banquet at Washington Hall and afterwards retreat
to Eisenhower Hall for an evening of dancing and socializing.
