Membership in the WPPC of MD-DC-VA is open to anyone interested in enhancing the image of the USMA at West Point and supporting West Point cadets who are undergoing a rigorous academic and military training program. It is open to parents, relatives and friends of current or past cadets or anyone with an interest in West Point and it's cadets. We offer several club functions each year, a newsletter publication, listserv and several services (i.e. bus transportation, football tailgating, etc.). In order to use these benefits, you must be a current member of the WPPC of MD-DC-VA. You can access a membership form at the bottom of this page.
Nametags and the Membership Directory will be mailed in early fall. If you have a correction for the Membership Directory, please notify the Knutson's of this as well. Corrections recieved after 1 Sept. will be mailed out with the newsletter on a monthly basis as they are received.
WPPC of MD-DC-VA initiated a listserve with "west-point.org" last year. All members with valid email addresses are automatically entered unless they ask not to be. The listserve is used to disseminate information about club functions and individual members can use it to broadcast information to all members. In addition, the listserve can be accessed from the club's web page so that member can send text based email messages to individual members via a blind email client.
The West Point Parents Club membership is a one time payment for four years beginning with the class of 2013. Parents of Cadets (Active Members) membership fee for all four years is $100.00. Associate Members* membership fee is $15.00. Classes of 2012, 2011, 2010 payment is $25.00 for annual membership renewal. Please visit our membership form link for further information.
*Associate Memberships are available for grandparents, extended family members, parents of WP graduates who no longer have cadets enrolled at West Point and anyone interested in supporting the goals of our organization.
