Rockin' for the Troops 2011
Gary Sinese and "The Lt. Dan Band" performed at Cantigny on July 16, 2011.  The performance was a benefit concert for "Operation Support Our Troops."  About 25-30 members of the West Point Parents Club of Illinois were in attendance.

2011 Letter Writing
On July 14, 20 members got together to write to every single plebe from Illinois (even if their parents hadn't joined WPPCI).  Thanks to Plebe Parent Jack Sullivan who picked up the cost of the postage!

Heritage Foundation Luncheon

On July 13, 2011 a few members were invited to attend a special luncheon hosted by the Heritage Foundation featuring former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.  Prior to the luncheon, a panel discussion was led by Heritage experts Peter Brookes and Dr. James Carafano.
