All Academy Ball 2009

During Christmas leave each year,  one the Parents Clubs of the three major Academies ( Army , Air Force and Navy) host a FORMAL BALL to celebrate our cadets and their families.

This year Annual All Academy Ball is being hosted by the Air Force Academy Parents Club.

The Ball will be held on  

December 28th, 2009

INVITATIONS HAVE BEEN MAILED OUT TO ALL WPPC-GA FAMILIES.

RSVPS ARE DUE  IN AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU GET YOURS IN!!!!

Kamish Sculpture Raffle Ticket reminder

By now, every family should have received 20 tickets for the raffle of the wonderful

Cadet Chapel sculpture by Kamish Studios 

 

This sculpture will be raffled off at the Army - Navy viewing on December 12.

 If you need more tickets or did not receive your first set of 20, please contact Maureen or Joe.

 If you have received your tickets, but have not sold any - please consider getting out there and trying to sell the chance to own this wonder piece of art.

 

As a side note, the arrangements for the Army - Navy game viewing are also posted oin this website. Please consider joining us for this EVENT.

GO ARMY!! BEAT NAVY!! Football Viewiing

Join us at FOX Sports Grill at Atlantic Station on December 12, 2009 to cheer on the Army team!  Doors open at 1100 hours, kick-off at 2:30 (1430).  

Time: anytime prior to 2:30 kick off. Food is served from the beginning of the game until end of halftime.
Date: 12-12-09

Cash bar also available.

Cost:  $20 for WPSA members and guests, $25 for non-members, and $10 for children 12 and under.

Lead the Way 5K Date Rescheduled

Lead the Way 5K date has been moved! 

 

  The much anticipated Lead the Way 5K has been rescheduled for the spring time fream. While a specific date has net been set yet, It appears that the March / April Time Frame is looking promising. We are still in the process of confirming the location, but it will be in the immediate Atlanta metro area.

 

Marty Whitcomb and Joe Rangitsch are spearheading this event. Keep coming back here for the latest news.

New Parents of 2013 Welcome

The West Point Parents Club of Georgia ( WPPC) would like to extend a warm welcome to the parents of the Class of 2013. There is a lot of information for you to take in in a short period of time and we are here to help you along the way. 

 First of all.... please feel comfortable amongst us. We are all on the same roller coaster and it is easier to ride it if you know the passenger next to you has been where you are now.

 To this end, this web site is geared to be an information and communication source. If you have a question, please ask it. More than likely, some else has the same question.
