Monday, October 29, 2007 Huntsville Times West Point visitopens my eyesand my mind I thought I knew all about West Point. I had visited the school's table at my school during college day, discussed some academic requirements at an academy day with U.S. Rep. Bud Cramer and have had many discussions with my dad, a 1987 graduate, but I had no real concept of what it meant to be a cadet. I got a better feel of that when I walked the grounds of West Point and stood in front of the scripted honor code: "A cadet will not lie, cheat or steal, or tolerate those who do." Read more...
