This website is intended to be the portal for the parents of West Point Cadets and graduates to find resources and information quickly.  It is a portal to all of the parent email lists available through the WP-ORG system.

WPP-NET stands for "West Point Parents Net". This is the net used by our parent moderators to pass "hard news" information to all parents who have an e-mail address in the west-point.org system.  WPP-NET is a closed net and the only person who can post messages to this net is the wpp-net moderator. This net operates on a "push" system. We push the information out to you unsolicited as we learn of news from West Point.

This listserver allows us to send a message to all or our parent list members at the same time.

The purpose of the wpp-net is to give the members the capability of receiving "hard news", relevant information regarding bus schedules, leave dates, dates of special events in the lives of the cadets, etc. This net is a low volume, high new quality net. This net is not a discussion or "chat" net and individual posts on this net are not allowed. If you wish "hard news" only then just sign onto this net. Discussions, in which you can participate, are reserved for other nets hosted by West-Point.Org which you should consider joining.  Those lists are listed below.

Any number of parents may sign up for membership. The only requirement is that you have some connection with West Point, i.e., are either a parent, graduate, or staff member there. This net will not accept subscription from Cadets at West Point. If you are on any of our other parent lists, you will automatically be subscribed to WPP-NET .

You may request to be subscribed *only* to this list, however, you may find it beneficial to be on one of the other parent lists if you desire to read the input of others, or participate in question/answer exchanges.   Each list has a digest version, so you can receive many messages bunched into one (digest version), if you do not wish to receive individual emails from that list. 

If you want to chat with other parents then you need to subscribe to one or more of our many parent lists:  

• The Parent Forum (for the parents of yearlings, cows, and firsties)
  
• Plebe Net (for the parents of plebes)
  
• West Point Grad Parents (for parents of graduates)
• Gray Net (for the parents of cadets who are separating only)
• USMAPS Net (for parents with a child in the West Point Prep School )
• Prospective Net (for *anyone* interested in attending West Point - parents and potential candidates welcome)

If you are the parent of a New Cadet, or Plebe, you should consider joining Plebe-Net, This is a smaller list reserved plebe parents only.
