Sending packages before A-day: 

Like any post office, there is a limited amount of time that the post office will hold a package before it is "returned to sender".

I would not mail a package now and have it sit around the Cadet Post Office - they will not hold until Acceptance Day, but will automatically put that little pink slip in the cadet's mail box ... and if the cadet does not pick up the box within a certain number of days ... well ... back it goes. Additionally, the Cadet Post Office at times becomes so very crowded with boxes that it's virtually impossible to find anything - so I would hesitate to do anything that would add to their sorting problems.

If you want to have a package arrive after Acceptance Day, mailing it a few days / week before should be more than sufficient.
