What sources are available to fund a class ring? PDF Print E-mail
All cadets have money earmarked for a class ring in their cadet account. In addition, if they request, and they have available funds, they are able to draw down on their cadet account by contacting the Treasurer's office.

Many use their Cow Loan to purchase the ring: Each year is different. For the class of 2002, the amount was $24,000 at 1%APR . Payments started in August after they graduate in 2002. They will be paying it off for 60 months, at $420 a month directly deposited from their paycheck. If the cadet already has poor credit, he/she could be denied, or receive a smaller amount. If they already have credit cards they are required to pay them off with this loan.

Random Quote:

“The spirit and tradition of this place are in every way worthy of its noble setting. ‘Duty, Honor, County’ – The ideal embodied in this motto of the Academy has been the quickening impulse through the years of more than a century. To that ideal your predecessors, those ancestors of the spirit, have, with the rarest exceptions, been remarkably steadfast. They have been honorable gentlemen, gentlemen unafraid, who did their full duty with patriotic devotion.”
