Volunteers participate in drills — and have instructors bark at them

The senior spent hours with the civilian volunteers polishing his form for reception day, or "R-Day," for the Class of 2012. At mock R-Day on June 27, he practiced the finer points of leaning close to mock plebes and pouncing on people who smirked.

"THIS IS FUNNY?" Davies screamed at one volunteer. "YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME!"
