The Parents Club of West Point hosted the 41st WINTER BALL on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the West Point Club. Cadets, families and guests were welcomed by Cattie Kim and Kathleen Russell. Kerri Moore captured families in portrait and moments throughout the evening – see the Flickr, FB links in your emails and website Gallery. Peter Russell, PCWP President spoke briefly about the mission of the Club, the purpose of the Silent Auction and introduced Major Nerea Cal, the Emcee for the evening. LTC (Ret.) J. Kilner inspired us to think about how to keep the “bar” high in what we do. The Firsties and special guests were recognized and honored. Other WP Club and Service Academy members joined us. It was a lovely evening of Military traditions, Celebration, Dining, Music and Dancing.

The General Meeting was held at West Point, Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 3PM at the WP Train Station.
It was a Pot Luck event. Pete encouraged members to send in their RSVPs for the upcoming 41st Winter Ball hosted annually by PCWP. It was the 41st year, held at the West Point Club, February 24, 2018.
Club members are invited to tour the West Point Rowing Club facility and to attend the first at home Regatta April 8, 2018. Look for more info Email. The Annual General Meeting and Executive Board Election is scheduled for April 22nd at 3pm. Location:West Point Train Station

Date: Sunday, October 15th, PCWP organized to capacity a Sunday Hudson River boating excursion on the Superintendent’s Boat – Tour and Tasting of the Hudson Valley – for parents, cadets, friends and families. The Fall foliage did not disappoint. Nor did the catered brunch by several Hudson Valley chefs and venues and Manhattan specialty bakers, purveyors and pastry chefs.

The first General Membership meeting was held at the West Point Train Station at 3pm, September 17th. . It was a pot luck fare event provided and enjoyed by those attending. A number of Cadets stopped by to see their parents and partake of the healthy fare.
Pete Russell, PCWP President, Deb Dalton, Director, Office West Point Parents, and Shelisa Baskerville, WPAOG Rep., brought our group up to date on how the WP Office of Parents and WPAOG will be working more closely together and with the West Point Parents Clubs to provide improved communications and additional resources.

The West Point Quintet Band played a medley of Service Academies music as the formally dressed guests, Cadets, Midshipmen and Officers filed into The Grand Ballroom, Saturday evening, February 25, 2017 at The West Point Club. The evening flew by as honors and prayers were given and remarks were made to remind us of how important serving our country is, to our families, friends and freedoms.

Generosity abounded and plenty of thought went into filling the Boodle boxes for the deployed graduates along with best wishes from Club members. Thanks to the members who could not be there but made donations. Afterwards, Paul Ibsen led a caravan of members to tour key spots of West Point history.
