REMEMBER: it is important to refer to all material sent to your candidate by USMA for official information. These are correct for 1998. This is only meant as a general assistance and is not an official site for information from West Point Military Academy

  • MEN

    All clothing and personal hygiene products to be issued. (May bring own hygiene products, but remember storage limitations.)

  • WOMEN

    All clothing (EXCEPT BRASSIERES) to be issued
    Women should bring a 14 day supply of hygiene products.

    Brasieres:
    Regular and 'sports bra's'

  • REMEMBER TO BRING:

    All Dental/Medical X-Rays, if sent to candidate by DODMERB
    one SMALL piece of luggage

  • OPTIONAL ITEMS:

    Alarm Clock
    1 framed picture no larger than 8x10
    Wristwatch
    Musical instrument
    Small hand-held hairdryer/curling iron ( Allowed, but most do not have time to use)
    Electric razor
    Religious reading material

  • DO NOT BRING

    nightwear
    Civilian clothes other than what is worn to R-Day
    Jewelry
    Stereo/Radio/CD players/etc.
