Money Matters
The New Cadets should only bring $40 with them to R-day. USMA asks that a cadet (or their family) make an
initial deposit of approx. $2,400.00 toward expenses incurred before receiving the first paycheck. In you are unable
to make the deposit, you are not alone, and you are requested to contact the USMA Treasurer prior to arrival. The deposit is
nonrefundable after the cadet reports to USMA on Reception Day.

Two accounts are used to help cadets manage their funds. One is their own personal checking acct, and the other is
the 'Cadet Account'.
