Defense contractor gets prison time for selling defective machine gun parts PDF Print E-mail

A former defense contractor in Southwest Michigan has been sent to prison for a scheme to sell faulty machine gun parts to the U.S. Department of Defense.

Howard Cahn, 55, of Colorado, was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court to 30 months in prison, according to court documents. Cahn was convicted of four felony charges -- three counts of making materially false statements and one count of wire fraud -- after a four-day jury trial in Kalamazoo in October.
