Welcome New Members of Prayer-net!

The Rules of Operation are as follows:

1. Prayer-Net will operate as a sub listserver of the West Point parent net 's and inlcusive of the larger "Rules of Operation".
2. Prayer requests must have a connection to the USMA and the West Point "family" - cadets, grads, staff, and immediate family.
3. Users agree to abide by a prohibition against any religious discrimation. Promotion of any singular belief or religious reading materials is prohibited.
4. Personal information regarding cadets is not to be broadcast without the permission of the individual concerned.
5. A family's right to privacy should be considered prior to any reference.
6. Participation in prayer-net is inclusive of persons of all denominations and faiths in the West Point community who find comfort in prayer and who enjoy the mutual suport of a prayer group.
7. Requests for prayer may be made directly to the listserver. The listserver manager will maintain a prayer journal which will log requests and updates.
8. Prayer requests will be kept in two categoreis:
1. General/ongoing requests i.e. for entire corps, staff, etc.
2. "Acute" specific need requests - ie. injury or illness, are to be updated at regular intervals and deleted as resolved.
9. The updated prayer request log will be broadcast to the prayer-net listserver on a weekly basis.
10. The listserver manager is responsible for maintainging adherence to the Rules of Operation" and his/her judgement is final regarding suitability of postings.
