* Posters are shipped separately from smaller prints !
    - You should receive your order no later than Saturday 16 Feb

* If anything is damaged or there is ANY defect, contact me via email but do not worry
    - you will receive a perfect poster.
    - INSPECT your shipment IMMEDIATELY before I put the spares in storage
        - Otherwise you may have to wait until Dec when I retrieve the previous years from storage

* Custom Orders will CLOSE Monday 18 Feb in the AM.
    - LAST call!! I will not send a reminder...

* The financial results will not be known until the project closes
    -  I feel fairly certain that the last minute orders will enable us to purchase another van!

It's time to catch our breath and say THANK YOU !

First, to you, the parents who support the effort every year as we would not have a project without your financial support!

While you always see my name on the notes, there are MANY key contributors which make up Team Army Navy! I would be remiss to not say thanks....

To Pam Sutey for creating and managing the web pages of information so that you can learn about the project and order properly. If you clicked on the home page, the ordering info, the company images, the historical images, and on and on... SHE is the backbone of our information delivery. I also credit her for the design of the posters - while I manage the poster development each year, it was her creative ideas in 2007 which continue to influence the poster layouts to this day. Pam prefers to work quietly behind the scenes, so this shot is typical of her many valuable contributions to the effort.

Web Work

To Megan Klein who designed and manages the Order Page. Megan tracks all of your purchases and contacts parents if there is any ordering error with the credit card. What started as a simple order page has grown in complexity over the years, but Megan helps keep it all straight. And every year I just make her life a wee bit more challenging. Which leaves her little time for fighting scorpions and spiders and chasing deer out of her garden.

Megan Klein

To Megan and Dutch Hostler for their continued mentoring as we improve annually, for forum support, and our source for the Army Navy tickets. We can buy our game tickets through their allocation which provides excellent seats for the game and the ability to shoot the images. No tickets, no images, no posters, no van.. that's key...

Megan & Dutch Hostler

To Jack Price who handles all our monies... it makes me feel a lot better knowing that we have a professional maintaining the audit trail. He's also a bit camera shy, but the image that he chose reflects his diligence in ensuring that every penny is accounted for...

To our Navy Moms - Kim Duffey, and Amy Martin who joined us this year. Our biggest challenge is reaching all the Navy parents to make them aware of the project. They post on the Navy parent forum and the Parents Facebook pages to help spread the word and share the opportunity !

Since 2008, all of your posters have been printed by this team in North Carolina... thanks Drew Bacot, Don Bean, and Paul Fetter. While we are a very small job in their overall business, they know exactly what we are trying to do and have gone FAR out of their way to ensure we have posters that you love. They believe it's more than ink on paper !

To the Benjamin Franklin Scholars from NC State University who have graciously supported us since 2006... here's Tyler and Rachael Barker who connected the Franklins to our effort and have personally participated every year:

And here are the Franklin volunteers plus a Marine OCS candidate from NC State who helped us today. "Go Pack !"

Inspector K-9 had added help today from Inspector K-10. Their intensity is unrivaled. You may find one of their "inspection tags" - thin and black !

Finally, my wife Cheri whose patience is immeasurable as she freely admits "I don't have a husband for 2 months". Time to get re-acquainted and support her!

As soon as all the production costs are completed and submitted, we will turn the proceeds over to Help Our Military Heroes (http://www.helpourmilitaryheroes.org/) and report the results. They are a 100% volunteer organization, experts at navigating the details to get the vets rolling, and we are confident of their stewardship. Stay tuned for a new van report "soon"...

Thanks for letting me tie the faces of our outstanding team to your poster !

Finally here are a few pictures of the packing activities...we set a packing speed record today, turning out a tube or mailer approximately every 5 seconds.

Poster Rolling 1

Snapping in over 1000 plastic end caps:

The flat mailer assembly line in action:

Flat mailers started near the window, where 3 stickers plus one stamp were applied before being "stuffed" by the packers.

It's not all work and no play... the day started with home-baked "monkey bread" and lunch was "pulled pork tacos" with all the trimmings:

The tubes and mailers are then moved to the garage, ready for pickup on Monday. Thankfully - NO snow...

Inspector K-9 says it's been a great day... time to relax and take a nap ... we hope your poster arrives quickly and safely !
