|Protestant Chapel Choir: Flight 93 Crash Site Visit
The Protestant Cadet Chapel Choir was in Berlin, PA 9/25-9/26 for their "Whiskey Rebellion" Festival. They marched in the parade Saturday afternoon and sang one song in front of the judges stand, held a concert Saturday evening at the high school and sang three songs in the church service Sunday morning.
The crash site of flight 93 from 9/11 is only about 10 miles from Berlin, so the cadets requested a visit before they returned to West Point. They ended up singing "My Country Tis of Thee" in front of the temporary monument. It was quite moving for everyone there. There were a lot of other people there taking pictures of the cadets and talking to them. Some of the cadets took off some of their pins and added them to the wall.
