‘TIL DUTY IS DONE

My son
stands proud among his
peers
with shoulders squared
and head held high.

Hours spent polishing
and shining shoes seemed wasted time
...... until now.

Recognition....
stepping closer today
to the rewards of tomorrow
Wearing with pride
“Duty, Honor & Country”

This moment in time
holds a future
that will grow beyond
imagination.

And across the miles,
I will know
that something special has happened
in the world today.
