LUZON  LIBERATION  TOUR  JAN. 2016

HIGHLIGHTS:

 

MANILA-BATAAN-SUBIC, to describe the outbreak of the war, battle on Bataan, and life of the POWs in various destination (Capas, Cabanatuan, Bilibid, hellship to Japan).  We will retrace the footsteps of the XI Corps that landed in Zambales to liberate Bataan and Manila.

 

SUBIC-LINGAYEN, to retrace the footsteps of the SIXTH Army that liberated Luzon

 

LINGAYEN-PAGUDPUD, to visit the STINGRAY SUBMARINE MEMORIAL in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte (Gen. MacArthur sent Cmdr. Chick Parsons to Pagudpud, Dingalan bay, Mindanao, and other places to deliver weapons, supplies and 16 commandos from New Guinea to arm the guerillas in preparation for the retaking of the Philippines).

Pagudpud beach is famous for its crystal clear white sand.

 

PAGUDPUD-KIANGAN, to retrace the footsteps of the liberating forces and the guerillas in pursuing YAMASHITA in this mountainous region. Visit the breath taking BANAUE Rice Terraces, one of the eight wonders of the world.
