APRIL 6          ARRIVE CLARK.  Accommodation at Stotsenburg Hotel

APRIL 7          PHIL SCOUTS REUNION PROGRAM and GALA NIGHT

(Sat)                 Overnight at Stotsenburg Hotel

 

APRIL 8          WREATH LAYING at Clark Cemetery, STOTSENBURG parade

(Sun)                3:00 PM  depart for Bataan.

                        Learn about the BATTLE FOR BATAAN.  Listen to the narration of our

                        Veterans on board, Sen. John Patterson who would speak about

                        his uncle’s account, and Joe Calugas Jr. about his father who

                        was awarded the US Congressional Medal of Honor at the Battle

                        of the Layac Junction

                        Hotel:  Crown Royale, watch the BATAAN PARADE  from the hotel

 

APRIL 9          MT. SAMAT CEREMONY  half day

(Mon)              West of Bataan memorials visit

                        Learn about the significant battles that delayed the Japanese invasion

                        (Battle of the Points, Battle of the Tuol Pockets) and Pantingan massacre

                        Overnight:  MONTEMAR Club and Beach Resort

 

APRIL 10        Enjoy the beach until late morning, Check out at 11:00am

(Tues)              MARIVELES Start of Death March and other markers visit,

learn about the heroic American and Filipina nurses and learn more

about Bataan battle

                        Overnight:  SUBIC.  Enjoy the open stage entertainment at Moon Bay

                        Marina, or try your luck at the casino

 

APRIL 11        Visit the HELLSHIP MEMORIAL

(Wed)              WREATH LAYING IN CAPAS, learn about this sad place referred to as
the HELL HOLE, and see the  BOX CAR used to cart the POWS

                        Overnight:  CABANATUAN

 

APRIL 12        Visit the former Cabanatuan POW camp, now a memorial.

(Thurs)             Learn about the daring rescue of the 6^th Ranger Battalion to the POWs.

                        Learn about the role of the UNDERGROUND who smuggled aid to

                        the sickly POWs. Learn more about the liberation.

                        DEPART for Manila’s American Cemetery.  Overnight Bayview

 

APRIL 13        Manila City tour and cultural dinner show at Zamboanga Restaurant
