Saturday dawned cloudy and cold.
In fact the High Desert had received a dusting of snow during the night and it looked like more was in store.
We were a bit concerned about the match but we needn't have been.
Dog people will brave just about any weather condition to show off their dogs.

We arrived at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds
to find a wonderful and WARM indoor arena set-up and ready to go.
There were heaters blasting from all corners
and a great kitchen that allowed us to serve hot soup and coffee.
Why, we even had our own heated bathrooms - this was a luxury!

Our judge was Geri Bensyl of Hearts Labradors.
Anyone who has ever been around Geri knows that where she is fun is bound to follow

We had a great turnout and a wonderful time
