RULES OF OPERATION Messages must have some connection with a Service Academy, Section 1217 of Title 10, or a disability received while attending an academy. Users agree to abide by a prohibition against political, discriminatory or sexual messages as a condition of participation. The listserver manager is responsible for maintaining adherence to these rules. His/her judgment is final regarding suitability of postings and corrective actions taken. These can range from notice of inappropriate actions to deletion from the listserver. Consequences for statements made when using these facilities are the responsibility and liability of the sending member. Messages which can be perceived by the recipient as personal attacks should not be broadcast. Personal e-mail is best directed to an individual member. Our messages will be broadcast to many members. Criticism of West Point is NOT a function of this listserver. Communication that might identify individual cadets is discouraged. Messages with "sensitive" comments can be forwarded through the listserver manager. This process will eliminate references to names contained in an internet return address.
