March 15, 2002	TBA	Carnegie Hall, New York City	Musical Program presented by the USMA Band and West Point Glee Club, augmented by the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets and the Army Chorus from Washington, D.C.
March 16, 2002 FOUNDER'S DAY	TBA	Washington Hall, West Point	Official 200th Birthday Celebration of the United States Military Academy. Founders Day Celebration in Washington Hall will be televised via a two way link worldwide. The Bullion Depository at West Point will release for sale the silver dollar Military Academy Bicentennial Commemorative coins; and a first-day issue of a U.S. postage stamp, with cancellations emanating from West Point, will also occur.

An engineering design exercise using computers is proposed, seeking a replacement for the first structural bridge erected in the United States—designed by Delafield (USMA 1818)—and still in use today. This exercise will be open to every high school junior in the U.S., with finalists from each state to be invited to West Point in the spring of 2002 for another design competition to award appropriate recognition to the winners.
Several musical compositions are being commissioned for both marching band and other instrumentations
A Publications Sub-Committee has several books under review which illustrate how graduates of West Point have contributed to the nation and the world in disciplines other than warfare.
Exhibits, both at West Point and nationwide, are under consideration demonstrating examples of engineering and art, through drawings, photographs, paintings and sketches, and other media.
