Welcome. This site has been built by the family and friends of the the United States Military Academy at West Point, which will be celebrating its Bicentennial in the year 2002.

Through these links you will discover West Point through testimonials, traditions, memories, tributes, and humor.

Established by an Act of Congress at the instigation of President Thomas Jefferson in March of 1802, the United States Military Academy at West Point was created to provide a national academy that emphasizes science instead of classics, a school that was intended to provide trained engineers - military and civil - for a new nation.

It has been dedicated since its foundation to training young citizens to become officers in the Army of their country, and providing them with the education and training which will prepare them to lead with virtue and talent.
