Joined Air Warning Platoon in late November 1941 was with the unit until February or March 1942 when he was transferred to Corregidor to recover from a leg wound.

According to my uncle's military records, a letter from Lieutenant Colonel Curtis T. Beecher to my grandmother dated Nov 8, 1945, Major Max Clark informed the colonel that my uncle was "killed during the landing attack on Corregidor but he could not remember the circumstances."

I am trying to find out if anyone knew him on Corregidor.  His CO in Company B was Lt. Hogaboom.   Hogaboom commanded Company P on Corregidor that had heavy casualties during the counterattack on the morning of 6 May 1942.   Possible my uncle was with Co "P" when he was killed.    My uncle was KIA on 6 May 1942.

Thank you,
James R. Tout
