    Gail DiMuro asks for help

"I've been searching for awhile for ANY site relating to Battle of Corregidor and finally found this.

My uncle PFC Salvatore DiMuro, Co "K", 34th Inf. US Army was killed by enemy sniper fire while on patrol, February 17, 1945.

I'm working on my Family Tree and hopefully somewhere out there, maybe there's someone who knows this Infantry, who may even know of him, I would appreciate hearing from you.   I really want to have a more infomation to put in the Family Tree on a man, who fought and died, along with so many others, for his country.   He never did marry so his legacy will live on through his family of nieces & nephews.   Even though we never met him, we want to honor him in some special way!

Thank you in advance to anyone who might be able to help.

    Warmly,
    Gail
