Lisa Davis inquires about her uncle

My name is Lisa Davis and I am searching for information on my great uncle's time in Bataan.   His name was Vernon Weldon.   He was my great grandmother's son and he was an Army medic.   He was there for the march and made it thru to the Hellships.   He apparently saved quite a few soldiers with his medical knowledge .

I hope there is someone out there who can share a memory or two for my generation.   It was too painful for my grandmother to discuss and now that knowledge is lost.   I am afraid I don't have any more info than that.
