I am the Registrar of the U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery Museum at Fort Bliss, TX, which of course encompasses Antiaircraft Artillery history.

Yesterday we had a visit from a fascinating gentleman who spent WWII in LaPorte, Indiana, assembling 90mm guns at the Allis-Chalmers plant as a 2d Lt. in an AAA unit.   His XO had been sent to the Philippines around 1940 and was a POW, and Mr. Temple has wondered ever since what became of him.   He was under the impression that we had a list of all Bataan & Corregidor Defenders and what became of them, but we don't have such a list.   We wish we did!   I told him I would try to learn what became of his XO.   On the internet I came across your name and the American Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor, and thought it worth a try to ask you.

    Mr. Temple's XO was
    Lt. Col. Napoleon Boudreau.
As far as we can tell, he was with
Battery Frank and in the 62d AAA.

He is in the Belotes' Corregidor so he must have survived the war.   We would really appreciate it if you could supply us with any additional information about Boudreau so we can send it to Mr. Temple.   He's 86 years old and been wondering about Boudreau long enough!

    Many thanks,
    Terrie Cornell
