I would like to ask that information about my father Chester K. Britt be placed on the web site, in the hope that someone who might have known him would contact me.
My father died when I was 6 years old, so I never had the chance to talk with him about the war or his experience as a Bataan Death March survivor and POW. Attached is a brief bio of my father's experience as a defender of Bataan and status as a POW. Our family has some of his diary recounting the experience of being moved from Luzon to Manchuria, plus other information that fills in his story. I wonder if anyone has heard about Unit 731 or whether any survivors have told any stories about being experimented on by their captors, whether in Mukden, Manchuria or elsewhere.
Should you have any questions, I can be reached at my office or home, or by email.
Sincerely,
Rev. Donald E. Britt
