        UPDATE:
        Thaddeus E. Tomaszewski (Ted)...... arrived in the Philippines in 1936......at time of capture he was with the 60th Coast Artillery, Battery F.....a First Sergeant....after spending 2 years at Nichols Field, Camp #2....he was sent to the island of Kyushu on the Nissyo Maru......he was held at the Fukuoka group of camps.....Futase #7 .....where he worked in the coal mines......he and a small group of prisoners liberated themselves on August 18th, 1945.

        "Thanks to Arlen DeBoer...clerk....60th Coast Artillery, Battery"F"......I have the company roster....dated April 30, 1942.....he tells me that he hid this list from the Japanese while he was prisoner of war.......119 names are on the list...including my father...1st Sergeant Thaddeus E.
