Jack was in POW camps at Malaybalay, Davao, Yokkaichi copper refinery and Toyama steel mill (camp #7). He was transported to Japan on the "Canadian Inventor". He landed in the Philippines on Thanksgiving Day 1941 and was sent to work at the Del Monte Pineapple Plantation building an air strip on Mindanao.
She would like to hear from or about these friends of her dad: Lynn Ernson, Frank Robinson, Lewis Andrews (possibly with a nickname of Andy) and a Pvt. Kuna.
